You might try supplementing with chlorella. It's an algae commonly used in the Orient.
Leafy greens help with the iron!
Red meats (i.e. beef, bison, etc) will also help with the iron deficiency, unless of course you're vegetarian/vegan, then leafy greens are you're best choice
Do a Google search on iron rich foods. Most leafy green vegetables such as spinach & kale are very high in iron. Some cereals like Wheaties are also good sources..as is Cream of Wheat. Black beans are a good source too. Just do a search
