Hearing Problems
Steady sounds such as that from heavy traffic, fans, etc. sometimes pulse by roughly 3-6 decibels in step with my heart beat. What's going on? (I'm 74 years old, with good cardio-vascular system, above average fitness, and good apparent general health.)
The best thing to do if you notice a problem with your hearing is to make an appointment with an audiologist immediately.
