Stuffy ear after shooting with minimal hearing protection

So at a barbecue at a friend's farm we decided to shoot some guns. I only handled one gun, a revolveer (.358 special I think or something). The others didn't have hearing protection, but I tried putting on my iPhone earbuds to (hopefully) protect my ears a bit. I don't know if it worked at all. My left ear was fine after a little while, but my right ear is a little stuffy still. It's been overnight since then. I'm a sound engineer so I probably should've known better. Does anyone know how long before it goes back to some normalcy? My left ear is fine now so I'm hoping my right will return.
