loud ringing in ears

hello everyone,
so basically the dealio is i have been having loud ringing in my ear or tinnitus or whatever its called lol. im only 15 by the way. now i understand its fairly common but mine is a bit different or worse than normal. of corse its alot worse at night because of the silence and thats when i really notice all the different frequencys. theres 3 seperate rings going on at once. the loudest one is more of a deeper lower pitch sound. next is a very high one picthed sound, like a high pitched whistle. the last, quietest one is like inbetween the 2 picthes... the loudest, deeper pitch one is the one thats really bugging me...it seems like its getting louder and keeping me up at night, any idea what u should do.
oh btw the ringing has been there for a very long time, probably 7 years...it started out as jus the one deeper pitch though and it wasnt nearly as loud as it is now

i remember when i first asked the doctor about it he said it was liquid in my ear and it would go away but it hasnt

oh btw the ringing is in both ears but louder in my left...i can almost feel pressure in my left eaar somtimes it gets so loud

I would temporarily attempt a VERY low salt diet for about a week.  I have meniere's (according to my doc), and that diet helps with the fullness in the ear and some with the ringing.  Very low for me is around 400-500 per day, which is very very hard........ but it would be worth the try.

To say there is "no cure" is not completely accurate. It really depends on the cause of the Tinnitus. For some people, there are simple cures, such as ear wax removal.

Either way you need to consult with an ENT to rule out any major pathologies. But it does sound like your have a middle ear issue, that can usually be resolved with medication.

Tinnius: i hve it since the ast 25 years. There is no cure. they may treat you so that your situation may not deteriorate further.I am told that now there are mny treatments available. Do not ignore thei problem. You hearing must be degective as will. I t cna diagnose by audiometri test.
If this leads to deafness or partial deafness, it will create many problem for you. so you must do what you can do for this ailment. This may be heridiatary as well. go deep in the subject and so you best.Wish you best of luck.
