Hello,
Thanks for posting.
Is the EF "high"?
No,67% is fine.
Is the RV systolic high?
Normal
is there a relationship to the LV pressure?
Not necessarily and there doesn't appear to be in your case.
What would the comparison of RV and RA pressure nornally be?
Yours is normal.
Have recently experiencing "lower" blood pressure in AM [70-90/40-60] with dizziness and some vision changes when trying to go for walk, so the afternoon dose of Lopressor was discontinued. Hasn't made much difference. Is this related to the LV problem or ...?
I don't see an LV problem here. Your echo is pretty normal.
I am not sure what to attribute your low-ish blood pressure to. I would need more information.
With these echo results and history what are they watching for?
You have coronary artery disease. You should exercise regularly and eat well. People without contraindications should take a baby aspirin daily (generic is fine) and a statin medication. Control risk factors like smoking, obesity, hypertension if you have it.
I hope this helps.
Balance of question and history ...
Dr. said "heart is normal; AV has trace leak; take antibiotics before dental work." Didn't mention the other trace leaks or anything else. Which leaves questions: Is the EF "high"? [because the LV doesn't fill completely or because the systolic is high or ...?] Is the RV systolic high?; is there a relationship to the LV pressure ? What would the comparison of RV and RA pressure nornally be?
