Aching under breast bone where heart is located

Over the last several years there were a few times that I noticed if I took a deep breath it would hurt very bad under the breast bone area of my chest were my heart is located. At that time I could only take little short breaths until the pain went away which usually only lasted for 1 minute or so. Well now for the last two days I am feeling the same kind of aching consistintly but not as bad as the times that it only lasted for a minute. It is noticeable enough through out the day that i do not forget about it. Please give me your advise. Thanks

I am a 27 year old female with the exact condition.  I have pain in my bra line.  The pain when you take a deep breath is terrible but usually quickly goes away.  I think it may be related to pericarditis.  I am going to the cardiologist today and I will write back.

Im no Doctor, but are your lungs congested or do you have a cough ?
when this happens.  as well are you taking any type of medication, when you have these feelings? It could almost anything -from a ribb
out of place -to lung infection- to a pulled or pinched nerve. or could be the heart .  

I think the best thing is to see a Doctor about it - first  as if he is good
and can test you, you should get a ansure what it is..

just always better to be safe than sorry.
