Age Undetermined?

My  ECG showed anteroseptal infarct, age undetermined and it was an abnormal ECG.  What does age undetermined mean?  Is it recent?  Could it be since the last ecg I had?

It means they can't determine how long ago it may have happened. If the "diagnosis" was computer generated, it may be incorrect. There is a computer program designed for reading EKG's but it's hyper sensitive and occasionally wrong. It does serve to point out questionable areas that should then be evaluated by a cardiologist. It takes a human eye and reasoning to determine what's real and what's a possible artifact.
