Angina?

I am a 32 year old with MVP, high blood pressure, frequent pvc's, and sleep apnea. My current BP average is 124/60 due to Lisinopril 10mg and my pvc's are controlled by Flecanaide 100mg.  I wake up gasping for air sometimes and my heart will start to race for about a minute or two and then slow down.  Last Tuesday I was at a work convention and began to feel a pain in my chest near my left nipple.  It was sharp feeling and lasted a second or two.  I had a few more throughout the morning, so I went back to my hotel room to rest.  It happened again while resting.  Over the last week, I have experieced more of the same.  I didn't have any other symptoms other than fatique, but that is probably the fact we have a newborn at home and my work hours are excessive.  My father says the pain sounds like gas pains, which is what he has personally experienced his entire life.  What are your thoughts?  Thank you for the support.

People with MVP often have both SVT and VT, and can have symptoms which are very similar to yours. I would suggest that you get an event monitor and if there are any of the findings mentioned above, then you may need medical therapy with a beta blocker or a calcium channel blocker. You may also need a transthoraccic echocardiogram to make sure your MVP has not degenerated into something more severe, and that your heart function remains normal.

I forgot to mention that I have a hiatel hernia and in the past have suffered from GERD, but also take Aciphex 10mg once daily.  Thanks for your help.
