Answers Please

I am 41 years old woman, and I have questions. I have had severe chest pain and shortness of breath. Tightness of the chest alot at night . I  have to have A stress test next week. What is it like to have A stress test? I was in the hospital for 3 days, last Sept for tightness and throwing up. With that A migraine headache and lower back pain. Has any one experienced these symptoms?
Please if you can, help me to understand all of this.

  Thank You

Thank you for the information. It's just scary for me, that's all. I know that the anxiety's are way up now, and that don't help. I just am new to all this. and I know I'm not the first and won't be the last .
Well It is time to start the coffee, so thanks again.

Your doctor believes you may have heart artery occlusions and that condition will cause the symptoms you describe.

A stress test is to inject a dye substance into your blood stream and the medical equipment monitors the flow of blood blood (perfusion) through the heart tissues during a period of rest and and period of exertion.

There will be a doctor on standby monitoring vital signs and other data and will know if and when the test should be discontinued.  Also, you are able to stop the test if there is pain or fatigue.
