Hi, the symptoms described by you may not be related to lipitor. The symptom described by you could be due to neuropathy. It is a disorder of the nerves which causes numbness, tingling, unusual sensations and sometimes pain. Diabetes Mellitus can cause neuropathy. Did you have your magnesium levels checked? Red blood cell magnesium test and serum test. Statins can cause leg pain due to magnesium deficiency. Are you taking CoQ10? Statins deplete CoQ10 as does simple aging. B12 sublingual may help along with taking a B complex. Most if not all medications deplete vital nutrients like Metformin reduces B12.
