Aortic root 4.5 & Aortic Insufficiency

I’m a 37 year old male…former body builder and now a marathon runner. But for some time now my chest pain, fainting, fatigue, blurry vision, dizziness, headaches, and lack of appetite…just in general not feeling myself is keeping me from any physical activity. I have seen a Cardiologist, he send me home saying to follow up in two years. I’m considering getting a second opinion, but for now here are my ultrasound results. My question is; do you see anything that could indicate the symptoms I’m dealing with? Thanks for Help!

Your chest pain may have vanished, but you still have that 4.5cm aortic aneurysm and that needs to be monitored and treated very carefully.  Again, I encourage you to educate yourself on ARB drugs and aneurysms.  Send me a private message if you'd like.

Thank you so much for your thoughts! I have stopped drinking coffee for a week now and I can tell my chest pain almost vanished. I was drinking 6-8 cups a day. A 24 hour holter monitor test was showing the loves HR 41 while sleeping, other then that all came out fine.
The Lord knows my time!

by the way, i believe aortic insufficiency can cause some of those symptoms. this goes back to your aortic enlargement.

You have a 4.5cm aneurysm in your aortic root and your cardiologist said to follow up in two years?  lol yeah you do need a second opinion.  You should consider cutting out the running and any weightlifting or strenuous exercise until this is resolved, and you need to be visiting a cardiologist for imaging about every few months, not in TWO YEARS.  Find a cardiologist who specializes in this area.

Also, read my prior posts on ARB drugs and how they can help with aortic enlargement (click on my screen name).
