Blood analysis

I recently received my blood test results about cholesterol amongs others and I am not sure what it means anyone can help a bit with the reading?
TChol 5.62H  mmol/L
           218H  mg/dl
CHOL/HDLC  4.43
HDLC  1.27    mmol/L
            49     mg/dl
LDLC    4.00 H  mmol/L
             155 H    mg/dl
TG        0.77 mmol /L
             67 mg/dl
Anyone can give me any tip and if it is reeeeally high ( I know it´s a bit high ahha) any good tip to bring it down?

There are a lot of websites where the cholesterol values are explained extensively.
In short:
LDL is the bad cholesterol
HDL is the good cholesterol
TG are the tryglicerides in the blood
TChol is the total cholesterol level and is calculated LDL+HDL+0.35*TG
The ratio is an important indicator for your health TChol/HDL

5.62 is not extremely high but in general the 3-4-5 rule is used meaning:
LDL best below 3
Ratio best below 4
total best below 5

You can lower your LDL by eating healthy
You can raise your HDL by being physically active

Very nice breakdown for Jay 0079. I too have a cholesterol prob & was prescribed Lipitor 40 mgs. I dont know yet my new #s but I know how important it is. Thx.
