Like Occupant had, I also had weird numbers at the cardiologist when he used that machine that taking the numbers 4-5 times on the row …ALL NUMBERS WERE DIFFERENT… and yes I agree lot to do with the (momentary) anxiety level.
My five cents: I have seen my B/P in the doctors office go from 128/75 to 143/80 in less than 3 minutes just sitting there in between the time the nurse took it, went out and the doctor came in to do it again. I think, it depends entirely on your level of anxiety - not easy to control.
I'd think those were pretty wide swings. However, you were in the hospital for chest pain, and from my experience you probably were given several aspirins to thin your blood as a matter of course, and also I'll bet you got one or two Nitro pills or sprays. Nitro opens up your arteries which reduces your blood pressure.
I'd worry more about the cause of the chest pain than the bp. The fact that your labs came back OK should ease your worry.
Keep us informed.
As erijon wrote - you are within normal range.... are you resting at least 5 minutes before taking your readings and taking them approximately the same time each day?
These are not really very large swings in BP or heart rate, most likely due to changes in the intensity level of you anxiety at any given time as none are excessively high or low. I doubt if there was any underlying physiological case.
