Burning sensation in chest

I have no idea what the topic name should be. My husband on 2 occassions has complained of a burning chest and shortness of breath and weakness after excertion.. Like today when he was moving bricks in a wheelbarrow.. I asked him if he had pain in his left arm and he said no and if he had pain or tightness in his chest and he again answered no.. He also is diabetic type II. Any ideas?

I would suggest that he seek URGENT medical help if the pain occurs only on exertion, and not at rest. If the severity increases, is associated with sweating or lightheadedness, then emergent ( that means get to an emergency room ASAP) medical care should be sought.
