Cardiac MRI for myocardial viability

My father age is 69 yrs. Recently we have gone for MRI scanning. In that left ventricle apex appears dilated with thinning of myocardial wall involving septum, anterior wall , lateral wall and inferior wall showing severe hypokinesia / akinesia with delayed hyperenhancement. What it means. can you tell me pls?
