Cramps in Both Hands with Pains

I was diagnosed September last with Unstable Angina awaiting to undergo an Angioplasty.
Lately I have been experiencing cramps in both hands, sometimes very painful when I try to fold my hands. Is this related to my heart condition?

Probably not. The cramps are often due to calcium imbalances or potasium imbalances. They are sometimes caused by excessive insulin production due to a benign tumor on the pancreas. Try drinking a glass or two of milk every day and get your vitamin D3 levels checked. If this is potasium deficiency eating a bananna a day will help, but many cardiac patients are potasium sensitive, so I would check with your cardiologist.
