Disability

Hi, I have cardiomyopathy, CHF, LVEF of 30% by Echo, Diabetes, Hyperlipidemia, sometimes high blood pressure, spinal stenosis, and a herniated disc. My heart doctor said I need to be on total disability. I get tired very easy and can't stand or sit for very long due to back pain. Some days I feels pertty good, most days not. I want to know how much they go by EF when looking into approving a disability? I should also mention that I am 44 and have done only laborer work my whole life. Thanks.

Cardiomyopathy:

There really is no specific EF below which a person is approved or denied disability. This is done on a case by case basis.
I would discuss this further with your primary doctor.

Thanks for your question,
