I've experienced skipped beats and associated symptoms ever since I was diagnosed with MVP in my mid-twenties (I'm now in my mid-fifties). I've learned to ignore (or at least live with) the PVC's and other worrisome symptoms but recently I've been experiencing sudden, very visceral stomach pains - something like a sudden blow to my upper stomach that seems to send my entire body into a brief (a second or two) spasm. They occur both at rest (usually) and sometimes while exercising (rarely). After these episodes I feel nervous, shaky and weak for hours.
Is this heart related or stomach related? Or directly linked to MVP?
I recently had a complete nuclear stress test / + echo and everything checked out ok but these episodes (once or twice a day, but they come and go with no particular pattern) are really weighing on my mind to a point where I'm constantly dwelling on them and/or anticipating another attack.
Any advice?
