Left atrial enlargement

I am 59 years old. I had an EKG that showed left atrial enlargement and possible right atrial enlargement. I am being referred to a cardiologist. I'm very concerned. Has anyone had a similar experience?

I really wouldn't worry too much.  Your asymptomatic and your 59.  Our bodies are certainly not perfect machines parts start breaking by 20.  Check it out to be safe but don't stress ;)!

It's differential diagnosis.

I wouldn't worry too much if you don't have symptoms.

How old are you?
