An ECG is not a very good source for an assessment of size of chambers or blood flow dynamics.  It is useful to determine any heart rhythm abnomalities, other than that it requires further evidence, supporting symptoms, etc.

Heart enlargement can have causes that don't respond very well to treatment; it depends on the underlying cause whether or not the heart can return to normal size.  I had an enlarged heart 7 years ago due to high blood pressure, and becuase the heart was pumping against high resistance the over worked heart dilated to compensate.  Medication lowered blood pressure, the heart responded with a reduced workload favorably and returned to normal size.

Your echo test will provide useful information regarding heart chamber size and the heart's ability to adequately pump blood into circulation to meet the oxygenated blood demand.

Thanks for the question and if you have any further questions or comments you are welcome to respond.
