Epi wrong route

I'm a 45 yo male with no prior heart problems.   Went to the ER last Thursday for mild anaphylaxis to tree nut allergy.  The nurse gave me epinephrine by IV instead of IM. Causing me to have v tacardia. Basically a heart attack.  What I'm wondering is ther gonna be permement damage done  I scheduled to see cardio at the VA In Pittsburgh.  As I just had stress test month and a half ago   And was negative.  Had it done because started exercising again after 10 year layoff.   Now I'm scared to no end. Taking anxiety meds now because I'm scared  any advice on how long this flat feeling is gonna be around

When you see a doc, you go to the right one for your problem: If you've got shoulder pain, it's an orthopedist.  If it's a cough, you go to a lung doc.  If it's anxiety, you see a specialist in anxiety--that's a shrink.

There is no blame or shame:  it's just a matter of seeing the right doctor.

What are you scared of, when your stress test was ok?

It looks like someone made a big mistake in the hospital, which resulted in tachycardia. I would not call this a heart attack though.
You did a stress test afterwards, which came out good. The stress test is meant to show heart irregularities when the heart is working at top performance. When this test is negative, you can be assured that your heart is fine and that there is no need for anxiety about your heart.
