Compressive atelectasis of both lung bases is an abnormal external pressure on the lungs that may be due to pleural effusion with secretion of the pleural cavity (membrane surronding the lungs). There is a growth of a mass within the lung at location sited.
Ascending aorta is the segment of the aorta vessel that is located to the output of the heart and is the main artery that supplies blood to the body system. The report indicates there is blood clots (thrombus), ulcer, and the size is abnormally increased by an aneurysm (bulge of weakened wall). The size is probably greater than 4.0 cm.
Mild cardiomegaly indicates an enlarged heart. The enlargement may be due to the higher than normal resistence the heart pumps against and the underlying cause may in part the respiratory system's thrombosis, etc. I don't know the significance of non specific bi lateral axillary lymphnodes!?
Hope this helps provide some insight to your questions. Thanks for sharing and if you have any further questions or comments you are welcome to respond. Take care and I wish you well going forward.
