Fast Pulse

I recently had surgery for a coratid artery (3 weeks ago), normally have low blood pressure, but am noticing that my pulse rate is increasing just took my blood pressure 105/78 pulse at 103.  I seem to be breathing harder.  Is this normal?

What type of surgery did you have done to the artery? Did you have angio stent implant or did you have your neck opened for an  arterectomy under general anaesthesia?
