Hi Karl,
Are you still on those medication for hypertension? My mom is in Jamaica and is taking that medication and she asked me to research it for her as she is having this consistent cough and she thinks her high blood pressure meds is the cause and here I find another Jamaican asking about this meds. Please let me know.
We need persons like you here in Jamaica West Indies, especially at the St. Ann's Bay Hospital in the Parish of St. Ann, Can you come to Jamaica and work please?
I think I was diagnose wrong because I was sent to do an Xray of the neck at this Public Hospital and was then sent to a nearby Health Clinic for observation with the Xray result, the doctor at the Health Clinic commented, and I got the impression that he was looking for an entire Xray of the Shoulder and Arm where the cramping/Pain circulates but he did not ask me to do it over, he gave me two prescriptions: Cataflam 50mg bd*1/52 and
Stemitil T po bd*1/12,
I am really concern! Your Diagnosis Dr Anitha sound more direct, God bless!
Hello and hope you are doing well.
The pain in the hand may not be related to the medications. The symptoms mentioned could be caused by cervical spondylosis. The nerve compression could be due to an osteophyte, growth or a disc. This could be causing the pain in the hand. The pain could also be due to rotator cuff disorders or due to a frozen shoulder. A simple x-ray will help and an orthopaedician can guide you.
Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
