I was on the computer, then all of a sudden every time I take deep breaths my heart would hurt, it lasted for 5 mins or more, I didn't remember because i was scared that it could have been a heart attack

What was it? a heart Attack ?

How can i stop this from happening?

Hi,
Have you had your heart checked? if not you should see a cardiogist. I don't think it's a heart attack, I get pains in my chest and near my heart too, but I had everything checked and all normal. Alot of times its anxiety or stress, try not to think about it cause the mind is a very powerful and you can make yourself have pains that are not really there. But you should get a check up just to double check. I know I have severe anxiety and I feel everthing but I know I am ok. When I drink or eat gasy foods I get gas pains bad in my chest and near my heart so now I stay away from soda and I just drink water and I try to stay away from spicy foods. Don't worry you will be fine. Good luck!!!!
