Heart Attack or reflux??

W/F, 41, non smoker, I have really bad indigestion the past week and yesterday I started having a chest pain that went to in between my shoulder blades...feels like an arrow going thru...could it be reflux, angina, or heart attack, sometimes the sharp pain between my shoulder blades takes my breath..
Also, not much stress or worries in my world either...Thanks,

Thanks, I started back on prilosec 20 mg 1 x day.  I stopped taking it about 6 months ago because I felt better and its so expensive..(I know...) Anyway I started it this morning and am going to call my gastric dr today.  The chest pain actually woke me up this morning...and between my shoulder blades...

Are you taking medication for the reflux?  If not, you should be.  Reflux can be extremely painful and produce extreme chest pain.  On the other hand, heart problems can make the stomach feel sick. Talk to your doctor about your symptoms.  If it is reflux, you should not let it go because it can lead to esophagus cancer.
