My daughters heart

My daughter is seven years old and takes 10 milligrams of inderol three times a day for migraines. She stays at two homes and at one she recieves her meds the same times everyday and always with food. At the other home she misses her meds at least two to three times a weekend and it is never given at the same time sometimes three hours apart and sometimes 8 hours apart which varies greatly. My question is what is this doing to her health and or her HEART or other vital organs. Please be detailed

Wow.  Propranolol for migranes?  I was taking it for an overactive thyroid and disturbances associated with it.

Best,

Inderol is a beta blocker whose generic name is propranolol. In general beta blockers should be given on a routine basis without skipping doses.  Sudden withdrawal from beta blockers may cause rebound high blood pressure, increase in heart rate and possible heart rhythm disturbances. When a person is withdrawn from  these medications they are usually weaned  to avoid the aforementioned problems.

Thanks for your question,
