Heart Problems!

hi! About 3 years ago I went for an echo among other tests. I followed up and never heard results about it so I was under the impression it was fine. Fast forward to now. about 2 months ago I started getting sick with what I thought was the stomach flu. I was hospital with Low potassium that is now stable but I have Heart palpitations, fatigue, muscle weakness, weight loss, dizziness on standing, low blood pressure on standing, Just generally Exhausted all the time but I can not Stay standing which suck! I can not walk for more than 10 mins. So this week I was talking to a friend and she asked what ever happened with the heart echo way back when. So I went and got the Results. The results state :

mild left ventricular dilation;
Mild tricuspid insufficiency with  right ventricular systolic pressure estimate to be 33 mmhg suggestive of mild pulmonary hypertension and trace mitral insufficiency

I also have Kidney problems as well as high Blood pressure (have had this for 11 years) By the way I am only 32 years old!

If anyone has any idea please help. The new doctor sent me to a Neuro thinking this could have to do with my Epilepsy. He thinks it may have something to do with my adrenal glands. I personally think this could be my Heart.

Thanks!
Gina

Well, the echo did report a few mild problems, in particular two valves. I would ask your GP to request a new echo to make sure that the problems havn't progressed. You may require specific medication. I think you are wise to start looking at other avenues because you sometimes feel like Doctors are going around in circles. Have you had an ECG performed? to ensure the electical activity in the heart is within normal limits?
So many problems in the body give the same symptoms as heart problems and I think you are wise to question ruling this out first. Worrying about this will increase your anxiety and increase your blood pressure further so the sooner it's investigated the better. Your heart is likely fine, but peace of mind is a good thing. Please keep us informed.
