Should I call the doc?

I was at my sons soccer tournament this past weekend, and started to get really bad chest pains, it was pretty hot out. I had to go sit down cause I felt like I was going to pass out. Then, was awoken to really sharp chest pains and then had shooting pains up both sides of my neck and really bad pressure in my head. That lasted a few minutes, I went and sat down. I was having chest pains on and off the rest of the day. I have been having real sharp pains in my stomach, upset stomach, eating lots and lots of Tums. My question is , Could this be new symptoms of the mitral and tricuspid valve regurgitation? or something else? I dont see the cardiologist til next month, should I call to get in a bit sooner? Any ideas, what this is?

Dressagequeen,

Thanks for the interest in this site, but new onset chest pains like yours need to be addressed directly by your doctor.

Please contact your doctor.

Good luck.

I'm not a doctor and I guess I shouldn't give medical advice but I think this comes under common sense.. YES, CALL YOUR DOCTOR!

Why on earth would you NOT call your doc?  If I understand your post, you already know you have some kind of valve problem, plus your symptoms sound worrisome.. why NOT CALL YOUR DOC!?

Please don't play guessing games with your health and rely on an internet bulletin board.. call your doc and let him or her decide if you need o be seen immediately!
