Dear Doctor,
Stats: 29/M/190LBS General Good health (PVC's/PAC's once every few days or so) My question is again related to heart rates. In a visit to a Cardio about 4 years ago, my resting heart rate was 58BPM. The last four months I've been on a work-out regime of 40 minutes of weigh training and 20 minutes of running (5K in 22 minutes) 4-5 per week while maintaing a well balanced diet and sheding about 15LBS. I've noticed that my resting heart rate is now between 42-46BPM. 1. I've never felth dizzy, short of breath or have felt any symptoms as a result - should I be concerned? 2. Furthermore I can only a achieve a maximum rate of 176BPM as monitored by my watch, about 20 short in theory - is normal considering my lower resting HR?
Thank you for your response and this wonderful forum.
