His appointment is 12/22
They are doing some more tests before we go there.
Good to hear that much. They tend to jump right on it when it's affecting a child. I hope you hear something within a week.
All they told me was they were trying to get the visit in ASAP
If it was life threatening, they would get something scheduled in a matter of days. But when you don't have all the answers it's hard to wait. They aren't worried (bully for them) but as a parent, you are. Don't be afraid to call a couple times to find out if things are moving along. Don't want to be a pest but in a busy hospital or clinic, things can slip through the cracks.
Unfortunatly we don't know yet. The referral has been sent to the doctor just waiting on the appointment.
I was surprised by the a-fib. On top of that there seems to be some brady (very slow heart rate) going on too. I have no idea why they put two different minimum rates on there. I do think seeing the pediatric cardiologist is the best thing you can do at this stage. Any idea of when you get to go in?
Also he had an EKG done prior to this that showed Sinus rhythm with sinus arrhythmia with short PR...again no idea what this means. We have a lot of heart problems in the family such as long QT, ect. any advice is appreciated
