Father had check up on last week.. Doctor informed..the water storage problem is recovering...he prescribed further water pill...so we are felling  much better now..for my Dad..

Doctor adviced:

Regular exercise..to make heart functionality  in normal condition.
Regular exercise of inhale three balls(which he got after by surgery, I dont know the exact name of that medicated tool).

Hi there,

Please keep us informed of your Dad's progress.  While your Dad takes Waterpills (Diuretics) he should add a banana a day, to his diet.  This should help with loss of Potassium.

Thanks for your quick response...yes he is under treatment of the same heart surgeon who did his by pass.
He is in check up within every 15 days along with blood test and x ray reports...
Doctor prescribed a different test  for the storage fluid last month, but it was not a successful attempt because at that time..they didn't got any fluid...so doctor prescribed with water pill for a month..we have next check up by next week..let see..what he suggest.

Hi there,

The Cardiologist treating your Dad is the best person to prescribe medication and to know the reason for the fluid buildup.

From a heart-patient's point of view I can tell you that I had my open-heart surgery the March of 2008 and I am still on Diuretics for fluid retention and pulmonary hypertention has improved throughout the years, but occasionally the fluid still builds up in the lungs if you have heart-failure.

A Cardiologist and Pulmonoligist should look into his problem.

All the best,

The hospital need to identify the cause of fluid build up in the lungs, if severe enough it can become fatal. There can be a few causes, such as kidney problems, heart problems or even a lung infection (pneumonia) caused by virus, bacteria or fungus. He really needs a Doctor to run tests to establish the cause, and then treat accordingly.
