I can see my pulse!

I have been able to see my pulse in my arm { and wrist at times}, And if I look close I can see my pulse in my throat. Sometimes I can feel my heart beat too and this scares me. I never noticed these things before, so maybe I think I am getting heart disease? My blood pressure is about 120/90. Sometimes lower and sometimes higher if I get anxious. I am trying to quit smoking with a book I have, and I have increased my exercising in the last 5 months considerably. I used to not walk or jog at all. Also I have started strength training a little. Is this a sign I am having stiffness of the arteries or something? I have paniced over this alot.

Oh yes my veins in my hands bulge when my arms are down. I guess the pressure in the veins is greater due to gravity. I am 31 and only noticed the bulging hand veins recently but I think that's because I am looking at my hands more as I push a stroller now.
PS I am looking at my partner now and I can see his pulse in his throat. He never noticed before either.

It's great to hear that this is normal. I wonder why I never noticed it before? I also noticed that my veins pop out when I have my arms hanging down and it looks scary, but then when I put my arms up they look normal. I am a woman and I don't want to look
masculine with veins, it's very unattractive and I am embarrassed about this. Do the veins pop out more because I am getting older? I am 36. I don't think they used to show at all.

I can also feel my heart beat by the way. It's really common. Some people become very focused on this sensation and then find they can't tune out from it so it feels like it is pumping very hard when in fact it is not.

It's totally normal to be able to see your pulse. I can see mine in my wrist, throat, side of neck, side of forehead and stomach to name a few.
