Here is an informative article on blood pressure and how 120/80 was determined

It was just a short note, but thanks a lot :)
sorry, but just had to say what an excellent post :)
If you're not symptomatic, then less is better.
Mine is 105/60 and it's not a problem at all. Sometimes after exercise I can dip below 100 and then I can get a little dizzy when standing up too quickly.
Nothing to worry about at all. It's not like 120/80 is optimal, it's the treatment target, in other words, if BP is less than 120/80 with meds, there are no gain in make it any lower. But we are young, and our blood pressure will increase with age. So it's nice that we can get a higher BP later without getting hypertensive.
Please don't worry. Your blood pressure is fabulous and many people would be thrilled to have it.
AND the ativan was a quarter of a .5ml idk if that can cause your BP to be low or if being under weight could contribute to that issue aswell
I just hate the fact I am not at the perfect 120/80 I am at 110/70 which I am not sure if that was ever a normal for me..I normally get higher BP because when I go to the dr I get soooo nervous. I did take an ativan earlierbut they don't help me much..I am always nervous about my health
blood pressure is how hard blood pushes against artery walls and 110/70 is great. Your pulse pressure is still 40 which would be the same for 120/80 anyway. If you ever fancy swapping your very healthy arteries for mine, please give me a shout :)
really? I always thought 120/80 was ideal and the best and anything above or bellow that was bad.
very good numbers.. 120/80 is considered good.. some less is better.. Id say 110/70 is great...claytex
