Is it normal for your heart to skip a beat for this long?

Sorry if i posted in the wrong place I'm just looking for an answer. I'm a 17 y/o female diagnosed with Mitral Valve Prolapse (with heart murmur) about a year ago. This morning my heart started to skip beats pretty frequently. It's causing light headedness, my legs feel like they will give way at times, and I dropped a bowl because I felt it in my hand suddenly and couldn't keep my grasp on it. It's been 3 hours.

I actually went to the ER and they said everything looked ok on my EKG and that my heart wasn't skipping beats ot was doing extra beats which explains why i felt the flutter in my head and legs on occasion. He said i was fine aside from slightly low potassium and mild anemia which is genetic and I've had it since birth. He said it could be caused by my MVP, but for me to still feel this way after 3 days is horrible. It only starts up once I start moving around when I'm at rest I'm fine.

MVP and heart murmur are probably not be the cause of it.
Stress and anxiety can cause it. The more you focus on it, the worse it often gets.

If if does not normalize, go see your GP. He/she will make an ECG, check blood pressure and possibly give you a Holter monitor for registering your pulse for 24 hours.
With that information he/she will be able to draw solid conclusions.
