Your left ventricle is dilated and your heart is not pumping a normal output of blood/oxygen.  Normal output is 50 to 75% and is recorded as ejection fraction (LVEF). Your EF is 30% and heart failure is 30% and below.  QUOTE: "LV apex and infero-posterior wall is hypokinetic*, meaning heart wall in question has heart cell damage and it impairs wall movement, and that would be the cause of the low EF.

The cardiologist should determine the underlying cause and treat.  The underlying cause can be coronary vessel blockage, and the lack of blood/oxygen flowing to the location in question can be the cause.  The left ventricle dilates as a result of the blockage and dilates due to the increase of resistance of the blood vessels.

Or the heart wall movement impairment could be due to heart cell damage caused by a virus, alcohol, drugs, medication, etc.

The stress test was terminated due to abnormality shown on the EKG indicating ischemia (lack of blood flow) to heart cells, and normal flow results when not exercising..
