Left chest pain/heart pain?

Hi, I'm 18 and I've been having this weird pain in my heart/left chest for the past couple days. Not too strong, but it's there. I also noticed that I can't feel my heartbeat when i feel my left chest, but when I feel right under my chest, I can feel it a considerable amount. Is this normal? Did my heart move out of place or something? Is that even possible?

Thanks for the reply. Do you mean go to the er or set up an appointment? Whenever I go to the er, they tell me to set up an appointment if I'm not in an immediate state of  my life being threatened. I'm just worried that they wouldn't be able to give a full diagnostic report and just tell me to get an appointment....

Hi there!

I've no idea about the movement of the heart though i think it would be unlikely....since if the heart could move i think it would be prone to much more injury.

Although you are young, I would seek medical advice immediately about the chest pain.  Chest pain should not be ignored even for a short period of time, but definitely not days.  It could be anything.  However you just want to rule out anything serious.  If it were to be something serious it's likely to be treatable if you get it checked.  Some heart problems become untreatable when left.  Just go, your life is too precious to leave it.
