Leg Cramps & Pain

I have been on Lipitor since emergency bypass surgery in 2005.  Prior to this I never suffered from cholesterol issues, so the Liptor is protocol after bypass.  I have just started to experience severe leg cramps, leg tiredness and soreness.  After this much time, is it possible to develop these symptoms???

It is possible tat this is related to the lipitor, especially if new medications have been started recently. I would suggest some laboratory workup including liver funciton tests and creatine kinase. Another possibility is that you have developed peripheral vascular disease, since this is often seen in patients with coronary artery disease. In this case you may need a procedure called an arterial brachial index, where measurements of pressures are compared in the arms and legs.

Is there any correlation between Raynaud's, Lipitor, and coronoary artery disease????  I have been plagued with blanching of my fingers, they then turn dark purple and painful rewarming.

Having been diagnosed with microvascular disease, is this symptom of greater concern??

Thank you
