Hi all,
Sreve its good to hear all your tests are coming back normal.
I have a comment to you and please its only a comment.
I can sympathize so much with what your going through, really.
I just got back some test results on my thyroid. It was normal. Now last week and the week before it was not normal. My T-3 was high. It bring me to a question.. What can cause the thyroid to become abnormal for temporary time? I mean if you look for info on pvc and pac it goes to the thyroid as well. Right now I am not having pvc, but a few weeks ago I thought I would die I was having so many for the course of weeks every day all day long.
Now my thyroid is normal. (very strange)
Have you had a panel ran for thyroid? You cant just ask for a panel you have to tell the dr that you want a complete thyroid panel, not just blood work up. I would never had known of mine till a dr in the urgent care said i was to happy of a person to suffer like this, and he ran it. Thank god for him.
Now i take zoloft and the pvc has stopped at least for now. Look into other reasons why pvc and pac can occur and research those things as well.

I appreciate the response. The only medication I take right now is the Claritin and Prevacid, as well as supplements.

My constant worry is mostly due to doctors filling my head with all this information out of nowhere. Then, of course, there is the one gastro who basically used me to test every drug out there for stomach pain, with none of them working.

Steve,

Thanks for the post.

No drug should cause continued palpitations after cessation of the drug + the time required for the drug to leave your system.

Propulsid (cisapride) and Claritin D could both potentially produce palpitations while taking the drug, but neither should lead to continued symptoms.

From the other list provided, levscin (hyoscamine) is an anti-cholinergic drug and can lead to palpitations while on the drug, but again, not after stopping it.

Most palpitations cannot be associated with any direct trigger.  I think I listed some potential triggers on your last post, or the one before that.  The bottom line is racking your brain for a cause usually provokes more angst than benefit.

Good luck.
