If you have less than two cardiac risk factors (smoking, family history, hypertension, diabetes, known increased cholesterol), haven't had a heart attack -- you do not need to be on a cholesterol medication. You have a great HDL cholesterol. Based on this you do not need a cholesterol medications.

Hi your numbers are darn good!! Your total cholesterol is high because your HDL's are so high. They are part of the total count thereby increasing it. If you calulate your ratios your risk factors are very low.

Wow, can I trade. These numbers are great especially the HDL number is out of the park. YOur trigs are great as well. I am no doctor but as an informed reader these numbers are impressive despite the high total cholesteral reading.
