Multifocal arrythmia

Hi
Just wondering if anyone has had a multifocal arrythmia? For the past 3 years I have suffered from runs of pvc's and occasional pac's....they do make me anxious when I have them but I know what they feel like so I don't go too over board with my panic. Tonight I had several (about 10 in a row a few normal beats then about 5 more  )strange arrythmia/palpitations....it felt different to my normal pvc's/pac's. When I had this run of funny heart beats it was not like a missed beat followed by a heart beat or a flutter...it felt like my heart was unable to pump properly/strongly. I am a nurse and happened to be at work when this happened. The nurse in charge felt my pulse and whilst having these weird beats she said my pulse felt weak/dull. I did not become dizzy until panic took over. I went to ER but by that stage they had ceased and I was back in normal sinus rythem. The ER doctor said that they were most likely eptopic multifocal PVC's. I am scarred now in case I get more. I hate the feeling of this arrythmia more then when I have 'normal' pvc's/pac's. Anyone else ever had anything similar to this? 12mths ago  had an echocardigram that came back fine, I have had a 24 halter that showed several eptopic pvc's, a stress test that was good and have had several ECG's - all normal.

I hope that you are feeling better. I don't know if you are familiar with ventricular Tachycardia. It sounds as though you may have suffered from nonsustained (less than 30) PVCs in a row. If they originate from same place and look the same on EKG, I believe they are unifocal. If they originate from various areas of ventrial and vary on EKG, they are considered multifocal ( also complex, i believe)
I have suffered from a few attacks of these myself.  I have just begun to try and be informed so I am limited in my info. Since no one has answered as of yet, I thought that you might find this helpful. Google  Cardiac Ventricular Tachycardia, if you like, and you may find that helpful.
  Best of luck to you...
