Muscle Weakness

Been looking for answers for over a year now as to why my muscle weakness has not subsided. My muscle weakness is generalized, my arms, legs, neck, and back. First noticed the weakness when I was washing my hair in the shower, I could barely hold my arms up without feeling over exerted. It all started with lymph node swelling in the left posterior and supraclavicular regions in my neck. The swelling lasted for 5 months so my ENT had one biopsied. Came back negative for lymphoma and squamous cell carcinoma. The lymph node swelling eventually went down. He also found that I my left vocal chord is showing paralysis due to muscle weakness. I recently had an EKG done (last week) that was abnormal. Im having PVC's and PAC's happening over 5 times every 25 heart beats. All this has been very worriesome and has really impacted my life. Throught the whole year I had labs that were negative for bacterial viral and fungal infections. Despite not having any infection I was put on antibiotics 2 different times which obviously did nothing. I was also put on an antidepressant which also did nothing. Please if anyone has any information regarding what might be going on I would greatly appreciate it.

It was my Ear Nose and Throat doctor who referred me to a neurologist. He wanted my neurologist to test for any of the muscular dystrophies and myasthenia gravis, which he never did. He ran some basic blood work and told me I need to talk to my primary physician. It really hurt my feelings when he dismissed everything I told him, and he had the audacity to tell me "To be honest, your endurance level *****". I told him thats funny because I've been athletic my whole life and am a full time student and work full time as well. Im very head strong, but whatever is going on with my muscles has really impacted my life and made things very difficult.

Yes, vitamin deficiency has been ruled out, as well as thyroid issues and lupus

It sounds to me as though it would be a good idea to get a neurologist's opinion.

Just a shot in the dark, but has vitamin D deficiency been ruled out?
