It was my Ear Nose and Throat doctor who referred me to a neurologist. He wanted my neurologist to test for any of the muscular dystrophies and myasthenia gravis, which he never did. He ran some basic blood work and told me I need to talk to my primary physician. It really hurt my feelings when he dismissed everything I told him, and he had the audacity to tell me "To be honest, your endurance level *****". I told him thats funny because I've been athletic my whole life and am a full time student and work full time as well. Im very head strong, but whatever is going on with my muscles has really impacted my life and made things very difficult.
Yes, vitamin deficiency has been ruled out, as well as thyroid issues and lupus
It sounds to me as though it would be a good idea to get a neurologist's opinion.
Just a shot in the dark, but has vitamin D deficiency been ruled out?
