My ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY report says Severe hypokinesia of Apical 1/2 of IVS & Anterior wall.

Im 58years old, and an insulin dependant diabetic.  Have undergone angioplasty 9 years ago, had a stent put in heart.

What does the report mean ? 
 Im very scared.
Please help me, im very scared.

Hypokinesia means that the area of your heart mentioned in the report, the inside wall of the lower portion of your left ventricle, is not contracting properly. The muscle may be damaged from a lack of blood flow or a past MI. When was this test done, at the time of your stent or since then?
