Need help with PVC's Pls read

First off I am so greatful I found this forum....I have just recently started browsing the internet in hopes of finding out what's going on with my heart.....When I was about 14 yo I remember getting up to use the restroom and I felt my heart racing like crazy.. I did not pay much attention to it but then when I was about 17 yo I was playing basketball and all of a sudden I felt this "weird" and strong heartbeat that stopped me on my tracks....I was so scared that I went home convinced that I was going to die that night....I was taken to many doctors and cardiologist and they never found anything wrong with my heart. Still I was so sick with worry that for about two years I was not able to function. I was taken out of school and I used to cry every day and was scared to go to sleep at night...Anyway, I am now 45 yo and ever since the first time this happened almost 30 years ago, I still experience this "heartbeats" that can happen at any time and it feels like an electric shock when this happens. Lately I have been feeling this thing especially when I lay on my side or when I bend over.. I used to get them once every few months but lately they seem to occur more and more often.  Can someone tell me if this is what you call PVC's? Throuhout these years I've had all kinds of tests done including a stress test within the last 3 months and everything comes back negative.........thank you all for you input and advise....

Sounds exactly like PVC's to me.  It's the same thing that happens to me.  Especially when you said bending over.  That induces them in me all the time.  It is scary, but they swear it's nothing to worry about, and since it's been 30 years and you are still hear, I think that is safe to say.  It is scary though, I know, but try not to worry.

You can ask your doctor for a 30 day event monitor.  It will record PVCs and other heart activity.  There's also a 24 hour holter monitor that records heart activity for your cardiologist to examine.  It will show exactly how many PVCs you had and other important information.  If your insurance covers it you should ask for it.
