Pain in chest while moving, bending over - Need opinion

Two weeks I ago I wake up (I slept on left side) with pain in part of my left chest, not precisely located in one point but I could say that was around heart area. It was a sharp pain that would intensify while moving, especially when I bend over. First day it reacted certain times when I put pressure on some part of left chest, pain would go up and when one time I pressured so hard, sharper pain started with a hard difficulty breathing, that lasted around 2 minutes then it returned to "normal" pain. When I sat or walk slowly without chest movement everything was little easier. This situation lasted 4 days, every day was a little lighter. In those four days I also couldn't sleep on left side. I been to my doctor after that, he said that doesn't sound like heart pain because it wouldn't stop in stillnes - rest. He said that this could be nerve or muscle. He measured blood pressure, it was normal. After that I didn't have any problems with this. Regarding my story it all seems like this wasn't heart problem. Should I go to some additional tests?

If it comes back go to your Dr again otr try a different Dr if you are not happy. It's your body and your choice. A couple of things it... 'might'...be are pericarditis or costochondritis. Also lung infection or gallbladder can have those symptoms.

I have the same. It's because I lean on my left elbow a lot.

Hello and welcome to the forum.  We're glad to hear you are feeling better.  It never hurts to check in with your doctor but since you were initially checked out and cleared for cardiovascular problems and the problem has resolved, I would guess that it was muscular in nature.  Again, we are very glad this is better.

If your symptoms persist, you should return to your doctor for additional tests.

Problem only lasted that 4 days. After that no problems. Do you think it muscle or nerve pain?
