Panic attack or heart attack ?

PLEASE HELP!

I am a 21 years old female, non smoker, never done drugs, a little over weight but not obese. The other night I was eating dinner and drinking a glass of wine and all of a sudden I felt really sick and started to have chest pain, like someone was pushing down on my chest (pressure). Then I got a pain in my upper abdomen (right below my breasts). I got shortness of breath and felt a little faint. I got really scared and my husband and I walked outside to get fresh air, but I felt really out of it. Like I wasn't all there. The episode lasted about a total of 10min. and it was unlike anything I've felt before. I have been under a good amount of stress and I have never had a panic attack before, or any other heart conditions (that I know of) Can someone help? I know I need an EKG, but I have NO money and NO insurance and I am really scared. Also do you know if you would have any side effects after, if it was a heart attack. And could it be a heart attack if I'm only 21 with no obvious problems. Thanks

GIven you age it is very unlikely that you did have a heart attack. It is more likely that this was a gallbladder attack, or something related to the GI tract as this occurred after eating. The bottom line is that I cannot make the diagnosis over a computer and you need to be seen by a doctor. In most cities there are free clinics where physicians will see patients pro bono. In your case the tests involved are not very expensive a( EKG and gallbladder ultrasound).
