Please help I was told my heart septum is over 20.
Hi. I had been feeling very sick dizzy and nausea my pcp sends me to ER Each time to maimonediece hospital in Brooklyn N.Y..There they run test take blood for signs of heart attack and send me home. On fallow ups nothing showed up. Last week I felt horrible went to a new cardiologist.
He informed that my middle of the heart septum is thick in over 20+ and the norm is up to 10 to 11. All he said is "continue taking bettabloker and lose weight". It's after reading it online I realize how serious and dangerous this diagnosis is with such high numbers! It seems he was first concerned than just brushed it off. I'm scared!
Please someone help. Should I have been hospitalised for treatment and further testing?
