Heart Catherization Procedure

hello, i had a heart catherization procedure 4 weeks ago. All went well and looks like everything is healing fine. I had a bruise near the groin area that went away and the tiny little lump i had right under where they poked is going away. However, the artery next to the poked area is still a little swolen. It has not gotten bigger, but seems like it is taking to long. Shouldn't the artery swell go down by now?  I am not in pain and going to work and even taking walks. I haven't been lifting or doing strenous exercise for the last 4 weeks. I saw the doctor last week and he said give it another two weeks and wait for the little lump to go away. Once gone I can go back to my regular streanous exercise of playing tennis, jogging, biking, stretches, and mild weight lifting.  My question is, can I go back to all these exercise routines now or shall I still wait another week? Please advise. Thank you.

I've had 8 or 9 angiograms/plastys and never had a problem. They told me the risks, but the occurrence of those risks was less than 1%. This is a tiny risk. You just feel the needle for the local anaesthetic, a little pinch. Then you lay there waiting to see if you can feel the dreaded tiny incision being made. However, you look up at the large monitor and realise they are already in and looking at your arteries. It really is amazing. Sometimes they have to give a blast of the dye and warn you that your body may feel hot, or you might feel a little discomfort in the chest. It really is nothing to worry about.
