I'm a 31 year old female who's been experiencing lightheadedness, episode of fainting, increased headaches and intermittent facial numbness. The doctor ordered an echo and called stating the results looked good. I obtained a copy of the report and read the following:
Left ventricular diastolic dysfunction, dilated left ventricle (6.14 cm), mild mitral, tricuspid, pulmonic, and aortic valvular regurgitation.
What does this all mean and isn't this something the doctor should have mentioned when giving me the results?
