Gidday dear community & friends. I had a recent Angiogram just 3 days ago, went in through my right index wrist. Upon trying to feed the camera tube into my artery they where pulling it in & out about 6 x times, during which I was crying with pain. I was told there adding more local anaesthetic, however I clearly felt this awful discomfort & terrible pain. I am wondering I have huge excess oedema & large amount of swelling in both calf's, my top & bottom of feet, toes & also all around my abdomen. I started today with a very high unexplained fever & chills. I did not have any huge Odense prior to my wrist Angiogram. I have also had a couple of little nightly chest pains, but nothing to bad. My wrist where they entered the camera for Angiogram is swollen & for some reason that same hand is tender over the top of my hand, where they put in the Angiogram camera tubing. I have had a groin Angiogram about 7 years ago. Even though I had this wrist discomfort, I would seriously ONLY ever recommend the wrist Angiogram, should you be reading my experience here. Because in comparison to the groin Angiogram & having a heavy wheat bag placed over the groin entry, the pain & discomfort is far less by having the wrist Angiogram, over the Groin Angiogram. Now has ANYBODY here had ANY of the side affects, that I am currently suffering & is this normal on DAY: 4 days, because I am SERIOUSLY over going to GP's, hospitals complaining, if this is indeed normal. As the hospitals here are stretched to there limits, and wait times can take around 8 hours. Also people a lot worse of them my signs listed here. I am a heavy smoker, obese & not fit. I'd appreciate ANY kind feedback at ALL. Thank you Suzy
